Young Astronomers May

The workshop on Saturday 11th May is entitled “Living on the Moon”. It is organised by BRLSI (Bath Royal Literature and Scientific Institute) and lead by Bath Astronomers. It runs from 1pm until 4pm for up to 24 young scientists aged 8 to 11 years.

If you want to reserve yourself a place, pop along to the BRLSI ticket office.

“The first footprint was left in the Moon’s powdery surface 50 years ago. Many more could be made within a decade by you and your friends. So how do we build a Moonbase, survive and thrive without the protective and nurturing atmosphere and resources of the Earth? In this workshop we explore the challenges we’ll need to overcome to make the Moon home.”
