We’re organising a special night for members and their friends on Saturday 18th March at Wellow Village Hall.
An opportunity to get together but also to pop outside and join in the hunt for Charles Messier’s 110 deep sky objects through a power array of telescopes. Galaxies, nebulae, open clusters, globular clusters and weird little wonders of the night sky. Bring your own telescope if you want.
Tea and coffee on tap. Bring you own drinks if you’d like something fruitier. Bring some nibbles, whether sweet or savoury to share.
The Mobile Planetarium will be set up to show European Southern Observatory shows in 360 degrees. There’ll be displays of astrophotos taken by members and a telescopes to play with.
