We were at the Bathampton Village Show for the 3rd year running on 9th Sept and we’re definitely welcomed as regulars. We brought 3 solar telescopes, a SeeStar S50, and a standard 200mm dobsonian for terrestrial viewing. We also had the paper rocket kit with the new launcher and the astronaut dressing up box.
Great to see so many new people and talk about taking up astronomy as a hobby, providing outreach for young people’s groups, and 30 conversations on Supermoons.
The rocket launching was particular successful with some great new designs, lots of decorating the Marquee roof, and some spectacular altitude gained.
