The workshop on Saturday 8th June is entitled “Fun with Telescopes”. It is organised by BRLSI (Bath Royal Literature and Scientific Institute) and lead by Bath Astronomers. It runs from 1pm until 4pm for up to 24 young scientists aged 8 to 11 years.
If you want to reserve yourself a place, pop along to the BRLSI ticket office.
“In the last session before the Summer break, the Junior Astronomers are going to find out all about telescopes; how they work and what you can do with them. A hands-on workshop that will straddle 4 centuries and, if weather permits, some observing whether from Queen Square or the summit of Mauna Kea.”
