We’ve visited two local community shows this summer with our Bath Astronomers Roadshow. We went to Wellow Country Fair on Saturday 4th September and Bathampton Village Show on Saturday 11th September and met so many new faces and excited minds.
Thanks are due for the unselfish volunteering by Prim P, Roger H, Sandy W, Steve V, and Tony P, all Bath Astronomers’ members, to make these events a success. Talking to visitors, helping people look through solar scopes, binoculars and ordinary telescopes, guiding the build of paper rockets and launching them, and encouraging dressing up and the first steps of many new astronauts.
