Probably our best night of all of our dozens of Tours to the top of Bath Abbey. The weather was great. We had a good crowd of eager minds – up to 65 people. Finally, we lugged the right kit to the summit. 80kgs comprising 3 telescopes – 2 with long focal lengths for planetary work and one electronically assisted astronomy scope.
The mulled wine and hot chocolate was a great treat provided by the the Bath Abbey Tour Team.
Great views of Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon.
