It was wonderful for Dr Becky Smethurst to travel over from University of Oxford to give Bath Astronomers a talk on her research on Black Holes.
The talk debunked the myths about black holes and went on to reveal that the last two decades of thinking were wrong, and how research is trying to find better solutions to the mysteries of black hole growth.
Dr Becky is so busy with a full time career as an astrophysicist and as a You Tuber with over 670,000 subscribers. Also an author and a podcaster with the Royal Astronomical Society’s Supermassive Podcast with Dr Robert Massey and Izzie Clark.
