On Wednesday 27th November, you’re invited to a free exhibition of photographs and images taken by local amateur astronomers of the skies above Somerset, both night and day.
The event is being held at Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath.
Doors open at 7:25pm. The event commences at 7:30pm with an introduction to the astrophotography exhibition and then you can enjoy the amazing images taken of the Somerset skies at night.
Get close up to views of the Moon, the Sun, planets, nebulae, and galaxies. Meet the photographers who captured the images and if you want, find out more about how they did it.
From 8:15pm, there will be a series of micro-talks on starting out in the enjoyment of stargazing and astronomy, each of about 15 minutes. You’re invited to join us for:

* Looking up with Binoculars, and
* Deeper with Telescopes.
