Telescope Workshop for all

Astronomy is a wonderful hobby/interest/profession. It is often tempting to rush out and buy a telescope and just look up to see a bounteous sky full of amazing images like the ones taken from the Hubble Space Telescope. But Space is big. Mindbogglingly big. So like finding a needle in a proverbial haystack, you’re going to need a little knowledge and equipment to find what you are looking for… a proverbial magnet or a metal detector.

Telescope Workshop: Saturday 12th January 2019, Tunley Recreational Center from 6pm to 8pm (9pm weather permitting).

These workshops are open to all and we recommend you bring your own kit (binoculars or telescope) with you to get reassurance you are doing things well and to get advice on how you might do it differently to improve/change what you can achieve/enjoy. All welcome young and old, we simply ask you let us know you intend to come along.

To register, simply visit https://bathastronomers.org.uk/event-registration

There is a charge of £5 (adults) to cover the cost of the venue and we need a minimum number of participants to run each session.
